We are looking for a hands-on,forward-thinking Digital Marketing & Automation Manager to step into an established role and take it to the next level. This is not a greenfield position — we have existing systems, campaigns, and a tech stack in place — but we need someone who can hit the ground running and immediately begin further modernizing our digital marketing, integrating AI into our operations, and driving measurable online sales and lead generation growth. You will report to the Vice President of Operations and work cross-functionally with sales, IT,and our carrier partners.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on,forward-thinking Digital Marketing & Automation Manager to step into anestablished role and take it to the next level. You will report tothe Vice President of Operations and work cross-functionally with sales, IT,and our carrier partners.
Core Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Online Sales Generation
• Own and execute the company’s digital marketingstrategy across all paid and organic channels — including SEO/SEM, Google Ads,social media advertising, email marketing, and content marketing — with aprimary focus on generating qualified online insurance leads and convertingthem into sales
• Manage the full digital client experience: emailnurture journeys, landing page development, website optimization, ande-commerce funnels, tracking KPIs and driving continuous conversionimprovements
• Plan, build, test, and optimize paid search and paidsocial campaigns through full account management, with clear ROI accountability
• Lead keyword research and develop a data-informed SEOand content strategy that drives organic traffic and positions Bravo as adigital-first insurance brand
• Develop and execute B2C acquisition, retention,engagement, and reactivation strategies in collaboration with the VP ofOperations
• Develop and execute B2B channel marketing to recruit,onboard, and activate BC broker partners on the Bravo portal — includingoutreach campaigns, onboarding communications, training materials, andusage-driving programs
• Own the digital marketing budget: forecast spend,allocate across channels, and report on return by channel and by product line
Marketing Automation & CRM
• Champion and manage the company’s marketing automationplatform (currently HubSpot), designing sophisticated workflows for leadscoring, nurture sequences, re-engagement campaigns, and customer lifecyclemanagement
• Optimize CRM data hygiene, segmentation models, andclient journey mapping to identify and predict customer behaviours and improveconversion rates
• Evaluate and recommend new marketing technology toolsas the landscape evolves, ensuring our tech stack remains current andcompetitive
• Ensure all marketing communications and customer datahandling comply with CASL (Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation), applicable privacylegislation (PIPA / PIPEDA), and Insurance Council of BC advertisingrequirements — including consent capture, unsubscribe handling, and consentrecord-keeping
AI Integration & Operational Automation
• Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools andworkflows across the organization — including AI chatbots, AI-assisted contentgeneration, predictive analytics, automated quoting, and intelligent leadrouting — to increase efficiency and drive online sales
• Assess current manual processes across the business anddevelop automation solutions using our automation stack (n8n, Zapier, Make.com,AI agents, and custom API integrations) to streamline operations and reducefriction
• Design, build, document, and maintain automatedworkflows in n8n, Zapier, and Make.com — connecting HubSpot, Airtable, ourquoting and policy platform, payment processing, and internal notificationsystems
• Stay current on emerging AI and insurtech trends,acting as the company’s internal thought leader on how to leverage newtechnology for competitive advantage
• Build business cases for technology investments,measuring ROI and presenting recommendations to leadership
Web Development & Digital Platforms
• Oversee Bravo’s websites and digital properties acrossthe full web stack — WordPress, Webflow, and a custom Next.js web application —ensuring they are modern, fast, mobile-optimized, and conversion-focused
• Act as the business owner of the custom Next.jsquote-and-bind application: scope requirements, prioritize the roadmap withdevelopers, review releases, and ensure front-end and tracking changes supportconversion goals
• Lead website redesigns, A/B testing, UX improvements,and landing page optimization to maximize lead capture and online quotecompletions
• Manage Google Business Profile optimization, onlinereview strategy, and local SEO across 90+ locations
• Ensure all digital touchpoints align with the Bravobrand identity, voice, and visual standards
Data, Analytics & Reporting
• Own Airtable as the company’s operational data layer —designing bases, tables, relational links, views, and automations that supportmarketing, sales, and reporting needs
• Build and maintain the data flows connecting Airtable,HubSpot, the quoting platform, and the websites, ensuring records stayaccurate, deduplicated, and in sync across systems
• Develop dashboards and reporting that give leadershipclear visibility into lead volume, quote-to-bind conversion, campaignperformance, and channel-level results
• Own the measurement layer end to end — Google TagManager, GA4 event and conversion tracking, ad platform pixels and conversionAPIs, and attribution across the quote and bind funnel — so reported numberscan be trusted
• Maintain documentation for all automations,integrations, and data structures so the stack remains supportable and is notdependent on a single person
Project Management & Delivery
• Run the digital roadmap in ClickUp — intake,prioritization, sprint planning, task assignment, and delivery tracking acrossmarketing, automation, web, and data work
• Maintain Notion as the team’s knowledge base: processdocumentation, campaign briefs, brand and copy standards, system runbooks, andonboarding material
• Manage external development and integration vendors endto end — scoping statements of work, tracking timelines and budget, runningacceptance testing, and controlling change requests
Collaboration & Leadership
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, IT)and external partners (insurers, software vendors, copywriters, agencies) todeliver integrated campaigns that produce measurable results
• Lead and participate in internal and external meetingsrepresenting the digital marketing function, building strong stakeholderrelationships across the network
• Serve as the company’s subject matter expert on digitalmarketing trends, competitive landscape, customer segmentation, andproduct-market fit in the BC insurance market
• Mentor and support team members in adopting digitaltools and AI-enabled workflows
Qualifications & Requirements
Required
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in digitalmarketing, with demonstrated expertise across SEO/SEM, paid media, emailmarketing, social media, CRM, marketing automation, and data analytics
• Proven track record of driving online lead generationand sales growth in a B2C or B2B environment
• Expert-level proficiency with marketing automationplatforms (HubSpot strongly preferred) including workflow design, lead scoring,and campaign orchestration
• Hands-on experience implementing AI tools in amarketing or business operations context (e.g., AI chatbots, AI content tools,predictive analytics, process automation)
• Strong web development knowledge: hands-on experiencewith WordPress and Webflow, familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks(React / Next.js) and headless architecture, and working proficiency with HTML,CSS, and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience building production workflows in atleast one major automation platform — n8n, Zapier, or Make.com — including APIcalls, webhooks, conditional logic, and error handling
• Experience with Airtable, or a comparable relationaldata platform, for structuring operational data, building views andautomations, and connecting it to other systems via API
• Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads,Meta Ads Manager, Google Business Profile, and other core digital advertisingplatforms
• Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, conversiontracking setup, and attribution across web and paid channels
• Demonstrated ability to identify manual or inefficientprocesses and implement technology-driven automation solutions
• Udergraduate degree in marketing, business,communications, computer science, or a related field
• Excellent project management, communication, andcross-functional collaboration skills, with hands-on experience running work ina project management tool (ClickUp preferred; Asana, Jira, or Mondayconsidered) and documenting process in Notion or equivalent
Preferred
• Experience in the insurance, financial services, orregulated industry sector
• Familiarity with insurance technology platforms (brokermanagement systems, online quoting tools, comparative raters)
• Working understanding of CASL and Canadian privacyrequirements as they apply to marketing automation, lead capture, and customerdata
• Experience working with custom web applications builton Next.js or React, including Git version control, API integrations, anddeployment workflows
• Familiarity with self-hosted tooling and supportinginfrastructure — for example self-hosted n8n, DNS management, and emaildeliverability configuration (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Google Ads certification, HubSpot certifications, orequivalent industry credentials
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva forcreating marketing assets
• Experience managing digital marketing formulti-location businesses

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000 – $85,000 + bonus annually,commensurate with experience and qualifications
