Job description

The Premium Finance Loan Advisor will be responsible for all facets of loan issuance and maintenance for the Finance Division. This individual will be reporting to the Premium Funding Accounting Supervisor.

Responsibilities

· Prepare incoming quote requests

· Review and activate submitted finance agreements

· Follow up and make adjustments on renewal premiums

· Review incoming correspondence and make necessary changes/updates to finance agreements

· Process cancellations, returned payments, transfers and broker payouts

· Review, calculate and process client refunds

· Bank transmittals

· Loan renewal reporting and processing

· Status reviews – special payments, loans in arrears, held loans

· Month ends

· Training of Administrative Assistants

· Software enhancement recommendations

· Develop and maintain strong and professional relationships with brokers using the financing division

· Provide customer service and assistance to broker and clients

· Provide brokers with training and support on web portal system and processes as required

Qualifications

· Excellent organization skills

· Strong numerical aptitude

· Great attention to detail and accuracy

· Good analytical and problem solving skills

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong time management skills

· Ability to multi-task and set priorities

· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

· Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
